Job Title: EHR Digital Programme Trainer  

Location: 1 London Bridge with expectation to visit other sites  

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – September 2025

Reporting to:  EHR Digital Programme Training Lead  

We are actively recruiting for three EHR Digital Programme Trainers. This is your opportunity to become a vital part of the UK’s largest private healthcare provider, specialists in complex care, with hospitals rated outstanding by the CQC.

These growth plans include implementing a real time end-to-end Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, a multi-million-pound investment, and part of our long-term digital transformation initiative. Focused on advancing our technology and integrating web-based navigation, this EHR will allow HCA UK clinicians and colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality and care and to maintain our outstanding ratings and continue to be a global market leader in complex care.      

In summary 

The Trainers are key roles within the HCA UK division wide EHR programme that will introduce new ways of working for clinicians and colleagues. The role will work with key business subject matter experts and project team members to design and facilitate the delivery of the training companywide to meet the business needs for the build and launch of the programme. Effective training for the wider business and colleagues using a range of methods is critical in the successful implementation of the EHR and the adoption of new business processes to enable the realisation of the programme benefits. This role is no easy task, with the added complexity of a network of private hospitals, outpatient centres and specialist clinics, and the sheer variety of roles within the organisation; smooth delivery of training to all areas will be pivotal to the success of the programme. 

What you'l do:

  • Facilitate the running of demonstrations and other engagement activities to increase awareness of the EHR capabilities and supporting the discovery, design and build of the EHR solution and the new business processes. 

  • Develop a range of digital and classroom training materials to meet the needs of the EHR workstreams for implementation.  

  • Responsible for the consistent review of effectiveness of the education/training.

  • Have experience training within a transformational change programme. 

  • Bring knowledge and experience of a variety of training approaches and methods of delivery.  

  • Provide excellent stakeholder management with the ability to build strong relationships in order to ensure the training is fully utilised within all areas of the business.  

  • Have excellent communication and influencing skills.  

  • Have Learning and Development qualifications. 

  • Be proficient at organisation and people management skills.   

  • Be a proactive individual who is solution and delivery focused with great attention to detail.
