We know that relocating to a new country can be daunting which is why we’re so committed to helping people who join us from other countries to settle in as quickly as possible. The level and kind of support we can offer will vary but we’ll talk you through everything during the selection process.
HCA Healthcare hold a Tier 2 sponsorship licence which permits us to be able to recruit the best talent in the UK as well as overseas. The license allows us to support General Visas as well as the Intra-company Transfer Visa.
As a sponsor, HCA Healthcare UK are able to issue Certificates of Sponsorship which then permit candidates to be able to apply for their leave to enter the UK for the purpose of their new job.
The on-boarding team support candidates with the process step by step, from the application right through to when the candidate arrives in the UK for their first day of work!
We’ll contribute towards your relocation expenses, booking and paying for your airfare to the UK. When you arrive at the airport, one of our representatives will take you to your accommodation – this will be at an approved site within reach of your place of work and your first three months of rent will be covered by HCA UK.
If you’re joining us from outside the EU in a role that requires a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN, you’ll initially need to complete an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and we’ll provide you with the support you need for that. You can find out more here:

You might also need to pay an Immigration Health Surcharge – we’ll cover the costs of this after which you’ll have full access to the National Health Service.
And whether you join us from the EU or further afield, we’ll give you a thorough induction into London life that includes everything from tours, a starter kit (complete with things like a SIM card, home essentials and shopping vouchers), and your own dedicated buddy who’ll be on hand to answer any questions you have.
When you get here, you’ll be encouraged to develop and progress with us. Because we’re a group, you’ll have the opportunity to move across to other facilities as well as progressing upwards. We have hospitals across London and in Manchester as well as a range of other services throughout the UK.
