Facility and Inventory Assistant

HCA Laboratories – Shropshire House

Full Time 37.5 hrs (rota over 7 days a week, shifts 07:30 to 15:30, 8:00 to 16:00, 9:00 to 17:00 or 10:00 to 18:00)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facility and Inventory Assistant to join our HCA Laboratories team based in Shropshire House London.

What you’ll do:

  • provide an excellent customer service experience for our colleagues and visitors and you will
  • assist with the supplies and stock handling processes within HCA Laboratories
  • waste management, including clinical waste handling and cleaning and maintenance of designated areas
  • assist the materials team to effectively organise and oversee the storage and stock control of all supplies and consumable for HCA Laboratories including receipt and verification of deliveries, incoming and outgoing supply distribution, delivery note and purchase order logging and assisting with stock takes as required

What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of supplies and stock management systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and efficient stock control skills
  • A good level of understanding and experience with Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook 365 and experience in using other computerised systems
  • SMART and Meditech knowledge desirable
