Senior Staff Nurse – Cath lab/Interventional Radiology

The Harborne Hospital

Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, however if you are interested in working part time, or across term time, we can discuss this opportunity with you.

Shift Days; Monday to Saturday, plus on-call services

Shift Patterns: 7.30- 18:00; 10:00-20:00; 12:00-21:00.

Salary range Up to £42,906 per year + shift allowance

We’re looking for caring, enthusiastic Cath lab/Interventional Radiology Nurses to join our Theatre team at The Harborne Hospital.

As a Senior Cath lab nurse/Interventional Radiology Nurse, you’ll participate fully as a team member, including working in all specialities performed in a Hybrid angio suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives

The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK opened in January 2024 and is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private facility. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital has the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer, Complex surgery and Orthopaedics. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current NMC Registration
  • Post graduate experience in an Interventional radiology suite supporting Cardiology and/or general Interventional radiology 
  • 12 months angio suite experience in cardiology, vascular, neurology and interventional radiology procedures
  • Cardiology experience
  • Interventional Radiology Experience
  • Experience of stock management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
