The Portland Hospital is the only private patient hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare needs of women, children and their families and fertility treatment in partnership with their sister facility, Lister Fertility Clinic.

Our state-of-the-art clinic is the only IVF centre located in a hospital setting in central London and will therefore be able to provide the full range of fertility treatment options including the care of patients with both routine and complex fertility problems.

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF specialist doctor to join our team of doctors who have wealth of experience and established reputations in managing all aspects of fertility treatment, reproductive health and assisted reproduction for those with problems conceiving.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

• The role requires the ability to manage the full range of fertility problems to the highest of standards.
• You will provide a full range of fertility advice and management for all patients referred to the Lister Fertility Clinic, at The Portland Hospital. Including responsibility for the scheduling of treatment cycles liaising with referring GPs and Consultants and provide emergency telephone assistance to patients on a rotational basis.
• Additionally, you will participate in the unit’s Open Days (IVF< egg sharer & any other that may develop in the future) and be brand ambassador for the Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland.

Skills & Experience:

• GMC Registered, with license to practice in the UK (Ideally CCT on specialist register)
• Minimum 3-years experience as a practicing fertility specialist
• Subspecialist accreditation in Reproductive Medicine (desired)
